An easy way to be encouraged in your progress is to simply keep track of what you are doing.  The best way to measure progress is to reflect back on what you have done prior.  A faster speed on the treadmill, 5 more lbs on your bench press, etc. Any improvement is worth celebrating and  knowing where you came from will help guide you on what goal to aim for next!
